FinCon is a conference that focuses on the relationship between finance and content creators or people with their own brand. Speakers from around the world who are experienced with money help people who are trying to make better content, make more money, and reach their audience. I decided to do a co-brand with the original conference around the theme Self-Made. The conference needed a refreshing brand identity system to help the engagement with people, media, and money.
FinCon's brand is distributed through a shape system, relating each shape to its brand. The shapes relationships are circles for people, triangles for media, and rectangles for money. To make the brand refreshing, a color combination of a cool black, electrifying purple, and light green is used throughout the work. The logo was made with the typeface Flecha, a high contrast font that I used for all my headings. This typeface is paired with Roboto, a friendly sans serif that has geometric forms to relate to the theme of shapes used in the conference.
